Holme Lea Guest House COVID-19 Policy
Are you and the rest of your party fit to travel?
Please visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus to review the latest government information regarding covid-19. If you or any of your party develop or have any symptoms of covid-19 within 14 days of your holiday or receive a track and trace alert, you must inform us straight away. Please also inform us if this occurs within the last 48 hours before departing your holiday. You will need to check your travel insurance regarding their cancelation guidelines.
Essential items to take with you
You may wish to consider packing the following items:
Face masks (useful if you are visiting any popular tourist attractions and for all public transport)
Hand sanitizer (for when you’re out and about)
Tickets/advance bookings (If you are planning to visit restaurants/pubs and local attractions, it may be advisable to research and book in advance)
Arrival and check-in
Check-in is from 2pm and we will ask you to estimate your arrival time. Hand sanitizer is available in the hall. Please adhere to social distancing rules at all time. We are only accepting payment by card at this time and this will be requested on arrival.
During your stay
When walking through the property, we ask that you use your discretion and consideration by adhering to social distancing. We ask you to avoid crossing on the stairs.
Hand sanitizer is available in the dining room and we will be allocating tables and breakfast times appropriately.
We are also offering the option of a room only basis.
Surfaces throughout the property, such as door handles, light switches, and handrails, will be regularly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Please remember to use the hand sanitizer provided and wash your hands regularly.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Your room will be cleaned and sanitized prior to arrival, however, to avoid cross contamination, we will not be cleaning your room during your stay. Towels will be replaced on request and left outside your door.
We do our own laundry and all bed linen and towels are laundered at high temperatures after each stay.
To limit waste and cross contamination, we will not be providing hospitality items within the room. You will be given a list of our standard options available on request (tea, coffee, etc.).
We will keep doors and windows open as much as possible to increase air circulation. We kindly request that guests leave their bedroom window open on day of departure.
We have arranged our dining room accordingly and a cooked breakfast will be served to your table including tea, coffee, and juice. We will not able to offer our usual buffet however cereals, etc will be available om request. Please understand the minimalistic approach we have to adhere by.
Check out is by 10am.
There will be a container in the hall for you to place your keys into, ready for sanitizing.
Post check out
Please inform us if you are identified as having been in close contact with someone testing positive of COVID-19 in the immediate time before/during your stay or if you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your stay.
